City Leaders All city leader positions are currently filled. Additional Committee Positions are available in each city. Please contact your local city leader for more details: Marketing Coordinator: This person will be responsible for communicating with media providers, advertisers and various third parties in order to publicize both the kick-off and kayaking events. Kick-off Event Director: This individual is responsible for coordinating the silent auction at the kick-off and managing the details of the bar event. Kayak Event Director: This person is responsible for leading kayakers on event day, recruiting key volunteers, and overseeing the smooth-running of the event. Fundraising Manager: This individual is responsible for researching and locating local sponsors, recruiting solicitors for the event, contacting local vendors for auction donations and assisting the city leader in any other fundraising endeavors.
