6th Annual Paddle for Autism Awareness in eleven major cities nationwide - 2010

This July - September 2010, the Global Autism Project will hold it’s 6th annual Paddle for Autism Awareness. This event gives children with autism and their friends and families an opportunity to kayak, many of them for the first time in their lives! This event also raises awareness and support for the work of the Global Autism Project in developing countries where there is little or no awareness of the condition and very few resources to help these children.

Since 2003, the Global Autism Project has worked in partnership with the Autism Awareness Care& Training Center in Accra, Ghana to build their capacity to provide services as well as provide them with training in sustainable business practices. We are also excited to announce that we have recently partnered with an amazing center in Northern India and are looking forward to continued successful work with them.

The Paddle for Autism Awareness, now in it’s 6th year is a widely anticipated and energy filled event. This multi-city event offers sponsors an opportunity to gain visibility in community of people affected by autism as well as the community at large. Paddle Locally. Support Autism Programs Globally.

• Go Green! Sponsor: $500 per city, includes Supporting Sponsor benefits – Provides for carbon neutral offsets, compostable flatware, all materials printed on recycled paper & composting/recycling of waste
• Kick-off Event Sponsor: $2,000 per city, includes Affiliate Sponsor benefits
• Paddle Day Sponsor: $2,000 per city, includes Affiliate Sponsor benefits
• Volunteer Appreciation Sponsor: $500 per city. Covers costs for a volunteer meet and greet and orientation/appreciation event for 20 volunteers per city, includes City Sponsor benefits.

Exhibitor Overview

In addition to the exhibit booths available through the above sponsorship packages, Sponsors may also purchase tables a la carte. The Event Exhibit will feature various organizations, priority will be given to organizations that provide services to children with autism as well as outdoor enthusiasts.

Actual number of exhibitors varies by location but usually ranges from 4 to 12.
