Once again, this experience has been an amazing one.  We had a great team of professionals who were able to work together to create and deliver trainings.  We had 7 Skillscorps members with strong personalities, trying to figure out how to work and live together for 3 weeks.  And we did it! Also, we, along with 3 interpreters, were able to help the teachers at the Huicong Center, in Nanchang, China with behavior analysis, speech, and teaching concepts.  The teachers at the center continually asked us to give them strategies that we use in America. Just as persistently as they, we used the Socratic Method to encourage their own thinking of how to find their own strategies.  Sustainability is the key. This experience was very different than my first GAP trip to India, which was amazing in its own ways. This time, I grew even more as a teacher, a soon-to-be BCBA, and a human being, forever remembering the group of women that I travelled to China with.   Once again, thank you for the opportunity to be a part of something that is bigger than myself. I am so grateful for the experience. I hope to continue on to the next step with GAP, whatever step that may be.
