Sunday afternoon… I’m sitting in my hotel room, listening to the sounds of Chandigarh. Motorbikes drive by, cars honk, and people laugh… the occasional dog barks.
Today is a day of rest after yesterday’s very long travel day. Tomorrow will be the first day at SOREM… I am SO excited to be here!
The group went walking around the neighborhood a bit earlier – exploring and sipping coffee. The more I get to know these people the more grateful I feel for meeting these amazing women. Group travel is something I haven’t done much of, but I feel like part of a team. We are united with a single purpose – and I think we will be strong advocates for sustainable change for children with autism in Chandigarh. Tomorrow will be a good day.
